Internships

Help Students Gain Real World Experience

An internship is critically important to a student’s pursuit of success in their lives and careers. Our student interns gain real-world experience and knowledge about career options while also building a network of employer contacts. But the majority of BSU students are already working one or two jobs to help pay for their education, which means many of them are unable to participate in an unpaid internship. Gifts that support internships make a world of difference to these students – deepening their education, opening their eyes, and revealing new realms of possibility.

Your support of the BSU Internship Program allows us to continue to institutionalize these opportunities and make them available to all of our deserving students.

You Can Also Sponsor an Intern

You can also sponsor an intern directly with a gift of $2,500. Your gift will be awarded in its entirety as a scholarship to an individual student in the following fiscal year - and the award can be named after yourself or anyone else of your choosing. If you want to sponsor the same student during each of his or her years at BSU, we invite you to make a multiyear pledge.

As a sponsor, you will receive a packet of information about the student you sponsor for an internship. More important, you are invited back to campus for a celebration event that brings donors and their sponsored students together. This is a great opportunity to see the tremendous positive impact of your generosity.

For more information on sponsoring an internship contact Betsy Dubuque at 508.531.2100 or edubuque@bridgew.edu or Corey Bowdre at 508.531.2547 or cbowdre@bridgew.edu.
