Recognition Reception

The Department of Political Science faculty cordially invites you to join us for the twenty-second annual Public Service Recognition Reception; an event celebrating National Public Service Recognition Week.

This year’s keynote speaker is Paula Montgomery, G’11. A MPA program graduate, Paula is committed to a life of public service, including her notable involvement with the campaign to elect Jon Mitchell for the city of New Bedford, as well as his successful re-election campaigns where she was campaign manager. She currently works as the Women United Director with United Way of Greater New Bedford. Previously, Paula served as the Executive Director for the American Red Cross Rhode Island Chapter, Rhode Island Regional Director for Make-A-Wish, and served in a number of capacities with the American Cancer Society where her last position was State Vice President of Development.
