Social Work Alumni Network (S.W.A.N)

Since 2012, Social Work alumni have gathered annually for a reunion.  In 2015, a group of dedicated Social Work volunteers have gathered to form the School of Social Work Alumni Network (SWAN).

Our signature event, the School of Social Work Alumni Appreciation event is held on the first Monday of November. The evening feature a guest speakers and all attendees in attendance have the opportunity to earn CEU’s

We also attend social events with reserved seating at the Homcoming Luncheon and attend Family and Performing Arts plays on campus.

For this coming academic year, the planning committee will meet approximately quarterly with meetings currently scheduled as follows:

September 15, 2018 9am-2pm

November 17, 2018 9am-2pm

We hope this serves the group and allows more people to join. They will be working meetings to accomplish tasks versus members having to take tasks "to go."
